What is Camogie?

Camogie is the Irish team sport similar to the men's game of hurling, but it is played only by women.

Played on a rectangular grass field, the game involves two teams using wooden sticks called hurleys to hit a ball, or sliotar, into the opponent's goal.Points are scored by getting the ball over the crossbar (a point) or into the net guarded by a goalkeeper (a goal, worth more points).
