Our mission is to promote Irish Sports and Culture through participation as a community based, volunteer-led organization while promoting the well-being of all members.
We are an inclusive organization and accept any and all players who want to participate in Irish sports.
Any and all adult age players are welcome. There’s no trying out or test, we encourage our players to attend a practice, pick up a hurl, and ‘give it a go.’ Introducing the sport, developing the player, and having fun is part of our core values and mission.
Akron Youth Hurling and Camogie was formed in 2016.Under 18 players are eligible to join our Youth Hurling and Camogie, which encourages positivity, physical activity, and safety to enrich and foster personal development.
