The game, played primarily in Ireland, is arguably the world's fastest field team sport in terms of game play and is Ireland's national sport. We're currently looking for people that are interested in playing the great game of hurling.

City Series Game 1: Frank's Beats Ray's!

E-mail Print PDF

In a game that at times saw much more goals than points, Ray's had a very strong second half to close out game one of the Akron City Series! The two teams went into halftime with Frank's holding onto a 2 goal lead, but after a quick comeback by Frank's took control the last 10 minutes to win!

It was a game of contrasts, as the first half saw a lot of movement and momentum, with very open game play. Fatigue set in on some of the players in the second half, and with limited substitutes, took its toll, freeing up the game for those willing to take advantage!
Final Score:
Frank's Place: 8-9
Ray's Pub: 5-9
